1992–2002 apprenticeship as goldsmith and studies in product and jewellery design at the University of Applied Art and Design, Düsseldorf and at the Escola Masana, Barcelona, Spain
2010–2011 studies leading to degree of Master of Arts in the Object & Jewellery department at the PXL-MAD School of Arts, Hasselt, Belgium
Since 2003 working as a freelance jewellery designer in Düsseldorf
