The object-like character of these pieces is based on their simple geometric shapes in relation to surface and colour and on their materiality. The reinterpretation of classical enamel painting leads to a seeming three-dimensionality through shading and colouring.
The objects are located in an illusionary space which is perceived even more when worn, but only exists in the viewer’s perception.

Biography
1971 born in Munich, Germany, lives and works in Nuremberg, Germany
2009‒2013 consultant and faculty member at the Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design, Lahore, Pakistan
2008 university teaching position at the College of Fine Arts Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Nuremberg, class for art and public space
since 2006 studio in Nuremberg, lectures in Germany and abroad
